How Memoire handles account, event, guest, and photo information.

Information we process
Memoire processes host account details, display names, event and collaborator information, guest names and photos submitted to an event, and technical data needed for authentication, security, storage, and service operation.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate hosts, operate shared albums, deliver guest uploads, manage collaborators, protect the service, troubleshoot failures, and respond to support or legal requests.
Guests and event hosts
Event hosts choose when and how to share a guest link and are responsible for notices and permissions at their event. Guests should contact the event host first about a specific event photo because the host controls that event and its moderation settings.
Service providers
Memoire relies on infrastructure providers for hosting, Google authentication, databases, and photo storage. Those providers process data only as needed to deliver their services under their own security and privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
Account, event, and photo data is retained while needed to operate Memoire, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Hosts can moderate or remove event content through available controls. Additional deletion requests can be submitted through the contact link below. We do not promise a fixed retention period that the product does not yet enforce.
Security
We use access controls and managed infrastructure intended to protect data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your Google account and guest links private when an event should not be broadly accessible.
Your choices
Hosts can close or archive events, remove contributions through available controls, and reset guest access. Guests can ask the event host to remove a submitted photo or contact Memoire when the host cannot help.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date or version. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be submitted through the Memoire project contact link below.
